J. Ramalheira Vaz was born in 1958. He studied painting at ESBAP (Porto, Portugal, 1976-1981) and ESAV (Geneva, Switzerland, 1989-1991). He has shown his paintings in Porto and Lisbon. He taught painting at the FBAUP (Porto, Portugal) between 1993 and 2025.
